Access WesternAccount
Before you begin (students only)If you are a new student, you must complete the steps to activate your account before you can accept your offer and begin your enrolment.
Activating your WesternAccount
You can accept your offer here:

WesternAccount allows you to securely access key Western Sydney University systems and services.
To activate your account:
Important for students
- Enter your staff or student number and click Continue
- Accept the Terms and Conditions
- Complete the form, including :
- Your password
- Your secret question and answer
- Click Activate
- You should see a confirmation message advising your account has been successfully activated
- After activating your account, please wait 30 minutes for your password to fully sync.
- Once 30 minutes have passed, you can log in to accept your offer and start your enrolment.
If you have already activated your account and waited 30 minutes, you can go straight to MySR to enrol.
Managing your account
After activation, you can return to the WesternAccount portal at any time.
Enter your staff or student number and click Continue to:
- change your password
- check your account status
- update your secret question and answer
